Guests will have access to a designated parking space as well as two unheated saltwater pools shared between the inhabitants of the complex. The town of Candelaria, a pivotal point on the island and home to the famous Basilica of Candelaria is reachable on foot by following the footpath that runs alongside the ocean. Legend has it that in 1390, two cattle farmers found the statue of the Virgin of Candelaria on the rocks, this virgin later became the patron saint of the Canary Islands. Today Candelaria is the principal Catholic centre of pilgrimage in the Canaries and one of the most important Spain.
How To Get Around:
Whilst there are public transport routes connecting Las Caletillas to other areas of the island, to really enjoy everything the island has to offer and to venture off the beaten track, we recommend hiring a car.
